41 years I’ve been coming to Ceredigion, all of my life. Over those years I’ve stayed in a great many places, yet have never stayed in the one place I’d always wanted to stay. The Harbourmaster Hotel on the quay side at Aberaeron, one of the most photographed landmarks in Wales. My partner and I have often looked for a reason to justify staying in their famous Aeron Queen suite, the one with the bi-fold doors that overlooks the harbour, and finally with us getting married at nearby Cardigan Castle we had a reason for staying. And wow, we loved it. Because of the nature of the day we didn’t actually arrive at the hotel until just before 11pm, just in time to make last orders at the bar. The temperature in Wales was still high even as the last traces of light disappeared so we sat out on the quayside wall with our cold ciders, before heading up to the room and opening up the big doors to gaze out across the full moon-lit harbour. We lay on the bed just looking out for a long time. In the morning the doors were soon open again and we just took in the stunning view. Check-out was at midday and we used every second to enjoy the beautiful room. Huge, comfortable bed. Beautiful bathroom suite with excellent shower and stand-alone bath. Bose sound system and quality TV with lounging area. We were both very impressed with the standard of the room. We had a late but gloriously delicious breakfast, and there was a great choice of beverages in the excellent bar area. All of the staff were very courteous and I can honestly say that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Harbourmaster Hotel.
Gorgeous hotel in a fantastic location. Attentive staff, lovely rooms. The only down side is that the bar is so busy you can get missed if you're not a local (stood at the bar for 20 minutes and all four staff ignored us for people they knew, we walked away without getting served)

Great food. Quirky interior. Helpful, friendly staff. Would recommend any day. Can get very busy and even full during the holiday season. So don't get upset if you have to wait. It will be worth it in the end.
The very best dog friendly eatery in the area, good quality pub grub, open for coffee in the morning. When we arrived there were more dog's than people in the one room. Bowl's of water for the dogs under every table. Very freindly staff. Accommodation available.

We stayed in Maglona last July. It’s a really well appointed and spacious holiday cottage in a central location. Everything for a family holiday or trip away with friends. I’d highly recommend it.

Ten of us stayed here in August 2016 for a week. Fabulous house, lots of space, loved the grand table in the conservatory. Nice that it's in walking distance of everything in the town. We're going back in October 2017.
Lovely accommodation, very friendly town, highly recommended

Everything lovely and clean. Good breakfast. Very nice hosts. Wasn't over keen on Aberaeron if I'm honest. But the B AND B is in a good location and walking distance to little town.
Excellent B+B, very clean rooms with all the extras you need. Gorgeous and plentiful breakfast excellently cooked. A few minutes walk to the lovely town centre. The hosts, Linda and Gary are so friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommended.

A delightful bed and breakfast in Aberaeron. The host's Dave and Kerry are most welcoming, cream tea on arrival, tips on where to visit and eateries in town. Bedroom/ bathroom all spotlessly clean. Breakfast tops it all, to start cereals, juices, fresh fruit, yogurts, then the full English, cooked to perfection by Kerry, all good quality ingredients. Well worth a visit.
Lovely place very hospitable would stay there again. Breakfast is spot on.

If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

Spent a glorious week at this superb site. From the moment we arrived the team there were helpful, welcoming and generally awesome, nothing was too much trouble for them. The camping pitches were generously sized. Toilet and shower blocks cleaned twice a day and perfectly adequate (the permanent block is still under construction). We had a fabulous stay, highly recommended. The food at the Moody Cow is delicious, very reasonably priced, and massive portions!
What a brilliant, family run caravan park. We arrived on Sunday as guests, and by today (Tuesday) we feel like friends. Yes, the campsite is still a work in progress and the shower and toilet blocks are yet to be built, but the temporary ones are spotlessly clean and the showers are lovely and hot. The weather hasn't helped any caravan parks this year, with lots of scorched grass and browning trees and shrubs, and on a new site this is more evident, but the care that the family take of their environment and their guests is admirable. I love this place and these people. If I didn't live 300+ miles away then this would be a regular site for us. As it is, it's going to have to remain an annual pilgrimage, but rest assured we WILL be back

Lovely stay, such a great sea view. chalet's are small but have everything you need. Food at pub was nice and plenty of seating outside and undercover to use. Lovely and quiet spot, great for recharging your batteries. The slope down to the beach is steep so if you have mobility issues may not be a good idea trying to go down but once you are it is stunning and peaceful. The only negative is the lighting in the chalet is very dim even with the standard lamp on, I have a problem with my vision so found it very dark inside at night but apart from that we would definitely recommend and hopefully return.
Favourite holiday location - if you go you will be back! Quiet site, private beach, bar and park - can't fault it!
